If you are looking for the latest version of emu360 look no further.  We have working extensively this past months on getting all the required updates for the xbox 360 emulator.  Many issues had to be fixed with a couple of new released games and we are happy to announce they have finally been taken care of.  Everyone keeps asking how they can go ahead and use their xbox 360 controller with the emulator.  The answer is simple, you just need to use the controller emulator that’s included with our download.

Xbox 360 Emulator for PC

Hi guys! For all of you that missed the update, we have just released the newest xbox 360 emulator for pc.  After being away all this months due to school work and my job we finally are able to release the latest version of emu360 for all of you to enjoy.  The download also includes the xbox 360 controller emulator so you guys won’t have to scramble around to find it somewhere else.  It’s really hard to find the xbox 360 emulator in other sites so we suggest you get it from the link we provide, we are the official developers of the only working xbox 360 emulator.  The download for emu360 is below for those of you that don’t want to read on.

 

The xbox 360 emulator for pc started out as hobby and we started out with emu360v1.0 and for those of you that have been following the process of the xbox 360 emulator since back then, well we are sure you guys can see the improvements on the newest versions of emu360.  Starting with the addition of full support for the xbox 360 controller emulator and ending with the higher compatibility with xbox 360 games.  I know it’s been frustrating for some of the xbox 360 emulator Linux users so far, but bare with us we are hard at work to make it just as compatible as the xbox 360 pc emulator version.

We would like to thank everyone that has been following our xbox 360 emulator from the beginning.  Building the xbox 360 emulator for pc has not been an easy task and has required hours and hours of work.  But we do it for all of the people that have put information into emu360v1.4 and on.  Thanks for all of you guys’ support and we hope you guys can keep enjoying the xbox 360 pc emulator.

Hello guys! I hope everyone that visits has been having a great new year.  We are sorry we have not update in a while but with school and work it gets hard to make time to update.  Don’t worry though, the development on the xbox 360 emulator has been going as strong as ever.  We have some exciting new developments to tell you about.  This latest version of emu360 will be the most perfect xbox 360 emulator experience a lot of you will have, specially if you have been following the updates from the beginning.  So lets begin by listing some of the newest updates.

GSdx-ogl: LINUX only
* Use the new map interface/separate texture coordinate inside shader
* support new format on texture

Note: it is quite instable with various crashes and GL error but at least it
compiles now :p

gsdx-ogl: linux only
* implement some missing shader for DATE, invert coordinate like strech
rectangle
* Use glCopyImageSubDataNV nvidia extension to copy image (you need latest AMD
drivers)

GSdx: this should fix xp/wine crashing when extrathreads > 0, and added a sprite
drawing shortcut, hopefully won’t break anything.

GSdx: full boot fixed, thanks for finding, I always use fast boot.

As you guys can see a lot of updates have been done on the linux side of the xbox 360 emulator.  The reason being we have been getting a lot of comments from linux users that wish to be able to use the emulator with higher compatibility.  Emu360 still has some problems with the latest Call of Duty game but please give us some time to fix this issue.  Here are some screenshots of the xbox 360 emulator running on windows 7.  This are screenshots of Call of Duty: MW 3, like we just mentioned the game will boot up but it will freeze after the first mission.  There seems to be a problem with the xbox 360 controller emulator as well but we are working on fixing that as well.

Once again we want to thank everyone for their support in this project.  The xbox 360 emulation community gives you thanks for all the feedback we been getting and all the people reporting bugs with the past versions of emu360.  As always we would like more feedback from the users so we can fix any problems that might arise with the emulator.

Xbox 360 Emulator Download and Update

I can’t believe the year is almost over and all I can say to you guys is merry christmas and have a great new year.  I will not be here because I will be going out for holidays so I won’t be able to get back to all of your emails.  Anyway I just thought I would do a quick update on the xbox 360 emulator progress and leave you guys with the latest download link below:

As far as the updates go we fixed some issues with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.  There had been some glitches with the xbox 360 emulation for sound.  Also the xbox 360 controller emulator was having some problems with emu360 and Call of Duty: MW 3.  Below you have a list of the latest updates on the xbox 360 emulator in order:

     ALT+F4 now exits the emulator
     Pressing F1/Shift+F1 switches back to windowed mode for file dialog
     *.mcr files are shown in memory card dialog
     Option to disable status icons (CD/XA/MR, etc..) - disabled by default
     dbghelp.dll is now optional (required for saving crash dumps though)
     CD drives (IoControl and ASPI) should now work
     Fixed save state loading bug
     Fixed crash when entering non existant save state filename

I know it’s  not that much of an update but It’s something.  I been really busy with school work that I haven’t been able to work on emu360 v1.4 that much.  Starting January we should be able to start working on the xbox 360 emulator and its update more often.

We also had in mind an xbox live gold codes generator for xbox live.  I know It’s a drag having to look around for xbox live gold codes and it’s just hard to find them specially when you are trying to play xbox live with you friends.  Anyway keep checking back to xbox 360 emulator for more updates in January.  In the meantime enjoy emu360v1.4.

Xbox 360 Emulator *UPDATE*

Hello guys,

We are sorry for not posting lately, but school work is keeping us extremely busy.  Anyway we been working hard to update our xbox 360 emulator this month and we are glad to bring you guys some updates.  A lot of issues that had been reported to us about the xbox 360 emulator have been fixed and should be set for release pretty soon.  If you guys haven’t been checking up the updates for emu360v1.4 we advise you to read the old posts so you can be up to date.  The xbox 360 emulator project has been advancing at a good pace and we would like to release by the end of this month.  So we will keep you posted.

On other news, we have been trying to work on a xbox live point generator.  Though the work is hard and we might not release one any time soon, we thought it would be nice to announce it to the xbox 360 emulator.  We have been receiving great feedback for emu360v1.4 and we would like to keep all of the xbox 360 emulator community happy.

Xbox 360 Emulator – Monday Update

Hey what’s up guys?!

Well school started for a lot of you guys but that can’t stop us from playing games, right?! Just playing guys, keep your studies a priority. Anyway back to our xbox 360 emulator updates. We addressed some issues with sound on this update and added several new features to the emulator. Basically It was pointed out that when playing Red Dead Redemption the sound would no sync properly during several cut scenes. This did not happen often but we fixed the issue for this version of emu360. Like I said we also added several features such as:

  • a faster/better 3d shadow/edge/polyid/capture
  • video capture support
  • two player support
  • max resolution 1440*900

Now the emulator is still in it’s early stages but we already accomplished a high level of compatibility, we encourage everyone to test out every game they can with our emu360v1.4 emulator, this helps us address every issue to assist xbox 360 emulation.  So if you haven’t download the emulator yet, well do it now! I’ll leave you guys the xbox 360 emulator link so you guys can try it out.  Now I’ve gotten some messages from Mac users.. and well I’m sorry guys but right now we are not working for Mac support.  Reason for it is because trying to make the xbox 360 emulator for pc is already a time consuming task.  Another point to cover is that the xbox 360 controller emulator does not work that good with the Mac interface at this moment.  If you are a linux user you are with better luck emu360v1.4 works pretty good on linux based systems so you guys can also download it and help us find out any bugs or any improvements we could implement for the next release of emu360.  Anyway I’ll leave you guys with the xbox 360 emulator download! Emu360v1.4 Download and Updates

As you all know we had been having some compatibility issues this week, but thankfully we were able to fix those issues.  The Xbox 360 Emulator is really taking progress and we fixed several issues with emu360v1.4.  Here are some of the games that were having problems, like I said this problems are fixed, he is the list:

  • Alpha Protocol
  • Alice: Madness Returns
  • Viva Piñata
  • Backbreaker
  • Afro Samurai

This games had been reported by some of our users and we have fixed all issues that were reported on them.  Remember that we recommend you guys get the xbox 360 controller emulator for emu360v1.4, we would also like to thank our user “Xbox360Maniak” for reporting the loading screen bug.  It seems to only occur on linux based operating systems.  Remember our xbox 360 emulator is being coded for windows at the moment, but it’s nice to see people trying it out on other platforms as well.  If you guys have any other bugs you would like to report just leave a comment with the title “Xbox 360 Emulator Bugs” that way we can check those problems right away.  Any other suggestions you guys might have just leave it on the comments as well.  Remember here at xbox360emulator.org community we try to get your input on emu360v1.4 and what we can do to improve xbox 360 emulation.  I will leave you guys with a video of our xbox 360 emulator running gta 4 on our testing pc.  Enjoy emu360v1.4 and remember you can download xbox 360 emulator – emu360v1.4 from here.  Enjoy guys!


Xbox 360 Emulator UPDATES

Hello guys,

Recently we’ve been trying to get a better compatibility with our xbox 360 emulator. Many of your have been sending me emails detailing that certain xbox 360 games are not working properly on the xbox 360 emulator. It is only a few but I am still determined to fix these issues on emu360 v1.4, the game in question is “Viva Piñata!” Even though not a lot of people play that game, it is vital for the xbox 360 emulator project to get this game working. So far I’ve been able to get past the menu, but for some reason emu360 v1.4 gives me a fatal error. I’ve been beating myself over this these past few days trying to get this to work. Another issue is with the xbox 360 controller emulator not wanting to work with the game either!!

Anyway this is only one of the few games that seem to not work properly at this stage. If you guys have any other bugs you wish to report just leave a comment with the title “Xbox 360 Emulator” so I can look at it right away. Hello guys, Well It’s been a busy week with the new work on Emu360 v1.4 – Xbox 360 Emulator.. Well you can imagine how busy it gets.  The xbox 360 emulator project seems to be advancing good and we finally got Red Dead Redemption to work flawlessly.  Like we said before there will be  a slight frame rate drop but it’s minimal and you will not notice it.  Another thing to note is the full support for the xbox 360 controller emulator.  This will enhance the xbox 360 emulator experience and helps Emu360 v1.4 work properly in all aspects.  Download Emu 360 v1.4 and check for yourself.  We suggest you try playing Red Dead Redemption on Emu360 v1.4 – xbox 360 emulator so you can see how much better xbox 360 emulation is starting to be.  The Emu360 v1.4 download is below.  Enjoy guys.

Xbox 360 Emulator

If you are looking for the latest working version of the xbox 360 emulator you have come to the right place.  This project has taken a lot of work and dedication, emulators for the xbox 360 have been on the making for a while already and finally we have achieved the creation of the first fully working xbox 360 emulator.  Xbox 360 emulation had been a hard task to accomplish all these years, requiring a lot of hours of programming.  The xbox 360 emulator for pc is really a great programming achievement and we have made it so that even if your pc is not high end you can still enjoy the emulator for xbox 360.
